President Moon likely to focus on Korean peace process during trip to New York

청와대, 다음주 열리는 유엔총회에서는 “선택과 집중” 해야 할 것

A high ranking official at Seoul’s Presidential Office says President Moon Jae-in’s upcoming trip to New York for the UN General Assembly will focus on getting the Korean peace process moving.
Speaking to reporters on Sunday — the official said President Moon would focus on a few specific issues, lowering speculation that the president would bring up diplomatic relations with Japan.
The presidential spokesperson had said on Friday that it seems the “giant cogwheels have begun to move” a little towards peace on the Korean Peninsula.
President Moon, during his five-day trip to New York, is scheduled to hold a one-on-one with U.S. President Trump,… but the detailed schedule is yet to be announced.

Speculation, Trump will bring up and negotiate Moon to pay USD 50B for US military cost. If Moon refuses, US military will probably withdraw from SK, making SK’s country risk higher and WON will depreciate further. JP will not provide currency swap nor does US. That’ll be the main part, not the issue between Japanese Olympic, or export control agendas.
